A New Leaf Media exists to further community development in media and the arts. Alongside our publications The Pun and The Pundit, we have several awards designed to foster improvement in various fields.

The Pun Professional Development Award.
This award is to be presented to a performer (or performers) who have shown dedication to their craft and outstanding promise for future festivals. It comprises a sponsorship package that assists them by providing practical, real support for the following MICF season.

Winners will receive:

• Payment of the show’s MICF registration fee for the following year’s MICF season
• Poster/flyer designed by a qualified designer for the following year’s MICF season
• Limited run of posters/flyers printed for the following year’s MICF season
• Publicist for the following year’s MICF season
• Advertising in following year of The Pun
• Feature interview in the following year of The Pun

Congratulations to Keep Your Skirt On, the 2009 winner of this award. They were presented with their award at the Trades Hall Closing Night on Sunday 26th April.
