A New Leaf Media are word peddlers. We spread our message on paper and the interwebs from Altona to Alphington, letting people know what’s what for festivals such as Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival… and more.

Who are A New Leaf Media?
Lefa Singleton Norton is Editor in Chief at A New Leaf Media.  She proudly edits Green magazine, The Pun and the intermittent publications which come our way.  Lefa edited university magazine Rabelais for over two years and was the director of the National Student and Emerging Media Conference for two years. In her ’spare’ time, Lefa is a contributor to The Big Issue, freelance writer and editor. During previous Melbourne International Comedy Festivals, she has been a reviewer for Beat, booked and produced festival seasons for Tony Starr’s Kitten Club, and produced shows such as Shopper.

Tim Norton is the man behind the pretty stuff at A New Leaf Media. A graphic designer by trade and a web geek by nature, Tim has worked as an editor, graphic designer, art director, writer, organiser, facilitator, film critic, political adviser and press secretary. He currently works as the National Online Campaigns Coordinator for Oxfam Australia.

A pool of talented sub-editors join us on our adventures, and we’d be lost without them. A debt of gratitude is owed to our team members who have contributed beyond measure along the way, including Jess Crouch, Bianca Durrant, Jane Watkins, Gillian Terzis, Kelly Griffin, Chloe Walker, Richard Watts, Mel Campbell and Penny Modra.
